Types of client cooperation.

Dedicated Team KindGeek allocates a special team only to work on your project. It assumes that our team will be involved in the work on your project for at least one quarter. Each month, a customer pays for the amount of time that team members have spent based on the pre-specified hourly rates. You have the ability to vary the size of the team and the involvement of other experts on pre-negotiated terms. Time & Material We charge for the time spent on work on the project according to pre-agreed hourly rate. We provide services of development, consulting, quality assurance according to preliminary estimates, without fixed cost to a particular phase of the project. All works are continuously recorded and you receive periodic reports. We recommend T&M model for those who need to extend their development team for a period of time for 3 or more months. This model makes it easy to vary the amount of the project work. Fixed Price We define the scope and timing of work according to the phase of the project. This business model is usually efficient if all requirements are clearly identified. Project parameters, timing of product development and its final cost are fixed and can only be changed within a pre-agreed procedures.

How are you working in terms of work organization?

Regarding work organization it really depends on the nature of project, but in most cases Scrum or Kanban works best for us and our clients.

Are your developers in-house based on site or is it outsourced?

All of our developers are employed full-time in the Kindgeek and are based in our development center in Ukraine.

Can I screen and select my resources?

Yes, of course. Our core strength is to match professionals with your needed profiles. With our help and consultancy our customers define and select manpower resources as part of KIndGeek proven intake process.

Can I access each of my team members ?

Yes, you have direct access to each KIndGeek team member. You can stay in touch with your dedicated KIndGeek team on a daily basis. Via chat, video conferencing and telephone you can communicate with them as if they were working in the same building on a different floor.

Is there a minimum number of resources for a dedicated team?

Our dedicated teams scale from 1 person to 50+. Indeed, many customers started with a "1 or 2 person pilot" allowing them to practice cross border operations and experience KIndGeek service quality.

How long does it take to set-up a dedicated team?

KIndGeek deploys a structured, proven approach to take-in a new customer, or add new resources for an existing customer. On average it takes around 5 to 8 weeks to get a dedicated team recruited and operational. The customer defines, with the help of KIndGeek, the manpower and physical resources required to deliver the expected services.

Are you using Scrum?

Yes, many of our customers use scrum or scrum-like methods for cross border application development with KIndGeek teams. We always adapt to your way of working, tools and methods allowing for quick integration. In practice, we try to “copy/paste” your environment to the KIndGeek dedicated team.

How is security handled?

KIndGeek complies with advanced security standards at all levels of customer interaction and within its nearshore service centers, ranging from physical controls, monitoring, vpn connectivity, data encryption,… The company-wide use polices and IT configuration standards comply with strict security standards and effectively prevent unauthorised access, malware or virus infusion, etc. We enforce additional contract terms with every employee, ensuring project sensitive information is kept confidential and is accessed on a “need to know only” basis.

What about Intellectual Property?

IPR is transferred to the customer and legally regulated.

What is your working language?

Our working language is English. Both Ukraine and Poland are multi-lingual countries where ICT professionals often speak 3 or 4 languages (Ukrainian or Polish, Russian, English). Multilingual resources speaking other Western-European languages (like German, French, Italian, Spanish) can be sourced from many language schools in Kyiv, Lviv and Krakow, especially for non-ICT missions.
