Day 1: Arusha to Londorossi Gate

On the first of the eight days and seven nights that I spent hiking, trekking, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro through the Lemosho route, After breakfast, your main Guide will give you a tour of your lodgings before taking you to the Londorossi Park Gate (2,250m/7,380ft, 2.5 hours away). From there, we hike through the forest to Mti Mkubwa camping, where we eat dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,750 m/9,020 ft) to Shira Camp

On the second day, You will continue the 8-day Mount Kilimanjaro climb through the Lemosho route on day two. The Lemosho route gradually steepens and reaches a moorland area before crossing the Shira Ridge at a height of 3,600 meters (11,810 feet), after which it gently descends to Shira Camp, which is situated by a stream on the Shira Plateau. Early in the morning, after breakfast, keep going as the route increasingly steepens and enters the zone of enormous heather. After crossing many streams, the route crosses the Shira ridge at around 3600 meters (11,810 feet), after which it gradually descends to the Shira one campground near the streams of the Shira Plateau. Shira One campsite: dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Shira Camp (1) 3,500 m/11,485 ft to Shira Camp

The third day of 8 Days of Mount Kilimanjaro hiking, climbing, and trekking Via Lemosho route will consist of a relatively easy hike across the plateau that will take you to Shira Camp 2, which is situated in moorland meadows near a stream. Even so, there are several walks you may take on the plateau to make today a great day for acclimatization.

Day 4: Shira Camp 2 – 3,840 m/12,600 ft – to Lava Tower

You will go east over a challenging track above the jungle after breakfast in order to reach the majestic mass of Mount Kilimanjaro climb. You finally reach the well-known landmark known as Lava Tower at 4,630 m/15,190 ft after several hours of mountain walking and going through a harsh environment. This vast area of Kilimanjaro's former volcanic activity, which is several hundred feet high, is just beneath the Lemosho route. For additional points, agile can scale the tower's peak. After a lunch break near Lava Tower, descend for two hours beneath the lower cliffs of the Western Breach and Breach Wall to reach Barranco Camp at 3,950 m/12,960 ft. There are many photo possibilities on this Mount Kilimanjaro trek, especially if the cliffs are coated in snow.

Day 5: Barranco Camp – 3,900 m/12,800 ft – to Karanga Camp

After breakfast, we continue up a steep ridge to the great Barranco Wall, and then you climb this magnificent obstacle which turns out to be easier than it looks. Topping out just below the Heim Glacier, you can now appreciate just how beautiful Kilimanjaro really is. With Kibo glaciers soaring overhead you descend into the lush Karanga Valley to the Karanga Valley campsite. From the camp, you can look east and see the jagged peaks of Mawenzi into the African sky. After a hot lunch at the camp, your afternoon is spent at leisure resting or exploring. After two long days please note this short day is very important for your acclimatization since your summit push is about to start a while to come.

Day 6: Karanga Camp – 4,200 m/13,780 ft to Barafu Camp

On the six days, You will climb east this morning via peaks and valleys in between to connect with the Mweka Route, which will serve as your descending Lemosho route. After making a left turn up mount Kilimanjaro, continue hiking for another hour through a sparsely populated area to reach Barafu Hut, where a delicious lunch will be provided. As there is no water at Barafu Cam, the final water stop along the Lemosho route is Karanga Valley. despite the fact that the Swahili term for ice is Barafu camp. Near the mountain's peak, high above Barafu Camp, lie the famed Mount Kilimanjaro snow fields. Make sure to acquaint yourself with the area before it gets dark to prevent any mishaps as your tent will be set up on a constrained, stony, wind-swept ridge.

Make sure you are familiar with the landscape before it gets dark since your tent will be set up on a rocky, narrow ridge that is subject to wind and weather. Get ready with your equipment and warm attire.

Day 7: Summit Day! Barafu Camp

The 8 days 7 nights of Mount Kilimanjaro climbing Via Lemosho route You will be up around 11:30 PM, and after some hot tea and biscuits you will drag your feet off into the night. A 6-hour climb northwest up through heavy scree between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers to Stella Point on the crater rim is the most challenging part of the route for most climbers. At Stella Point 5,685 m/18,650 ft you stop for a short rest and a chance to see a supremely sanguine sunrise. At Stella Point, you join the top part of the Marangu Route but do not stop here too long, as it will be extremely difficult to start again due to cold and exhaustion. Depending on the time of year and current storms you may stumble upon snow on your remaining hike along the rim to Uhuru Peak. On the summit, you can enjoy your accomplishment and know that you are creating a day that you will remember for the rest of your life. After your 3-hour descent from the summit back to Barafu Camp, you will have a well-deserved but short rest collect your gear, and hike down a rock and scree path into the moorland and sooner or later into the forest to Mweka Camp 3,100 m/10,170 ft This camp is in the upper forest, so you can anticipate mist or rain in the late afternoon., Dinner and washing water will be prepared and the camp office sells drinking water, soft drinks, chocolates, and beers.

Day 8: Mweka Camp -3,100 m/10,170 ft to Mweka Gate

On the last day of 8 Days, 7 nights Mount Kilimanjaro Climb Via Lemosho route Please note that no tips are offered on the way until all of your staff and the rest of the crew have arrived at the gate safely. The Lemosho route is one of our preferred routes due to its low traffic, beautiful scenery, and high summit success rate. The Mount Kilimanjaro through Lemosho route starts off from the west, beginning with a long drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate. From there, the first two days are spent trekking through the lush rainforest to Shira Plateau. For normal hiking, we recommend a minimum of 7 days to attempt this route but 8 days is preferable for better acclimatization and summit success. While if you include crater camp, we recommend 8 days minimum and 9 days for better acclimatization. Also overnight at the crater is charged extra to cover extra entrance fees.

#Marangu Route

6 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking | Climbing | Trekking Via Marangu Route from Arusha and Moshi with AFRICA NATURAL TOURS.

Marangu Route Kilimanjaro offers one of the best chances in the world to climb the peak of high altitude without the need for technical climbing skills. It is located in Tanzania and is just 3 degrees south of the equator. Mount Kilimanjaro Climb 6 Days will give you the chance to reach the highest mountain in Africa. The mount Kilimanjaro via Marangu route trek will take you over well-defined altitudinal vegetation zones, from semi-arid scrub to dense forest. It is open to any ordinarily fit and healthy person who is prepared to put some energy into Mount Kilimanjaro's climb to the summit. Walking distance is approximately 60 kilometers starting from Marangu Gate 1,860mts and slowly but surely, ascend is always on the day and stopping at night to reach Gillman’s Point 5,680mts and as a final point climb to Uhuru Peak 5,895mts the real summit.

Day 1 –Marangu Gate- Mandara Hut

On the first day of the six-day climb, trek, and hike up Mount Kilimanjaro from Arusha and Moshi with Africa Natural Tours You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Marangu gate, where you will meet your group of guides and porters. As you travel approach the gate, and you will enjoy spectacular mountain views. In the forest, you could observe vividly colorful birds, colobus monkeys, and other monkey species, as well as mosses, lichens, flowers, and beautiful orchids. The town of Moshi, which is located at the edge of the plain farther down, may be seen if the skies are clear. Once registration is complete, you will begin rising and leaving the Mt Kilimanjaro National park structures.

Day 2 – Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut 3,720mts

The second day on the mountain comes shortly after breakfast with a difficult ascent through the final stretch of rainforest, but this quickly gives way to a rolling alpine meadow studded with enormous heather. The two peaks of mount Kilimanjaro—the rocky Mawenzi and the snow-covered Kibo—that overlook the horizon are straight ahead after you emerge from the forest's sunshade. Moving further, you pass through an area of sparsely vegetated open moorland, gaining around 1,000 meters of elevation today. Depending on your speed, the walk might take between five and seven hours, but it is ALWAYS POLEPOLE. For dinner tonight and an extended stay at Horombo Huts

Day 3 – Horombo Hut

On the third day of 6 days, Mount Kilimanjaro is Hiking, trekking, and Climbing Via the Marangu route. Over the period of a day, you may acclimate to the altitude here, and because research shows that doing so effectively doubles your odds of summiting, the time is well spent. The day isn't really wasted because there are a number of treks you can go on right near the hut, but we'll go on the most well-known one that most people use to acclimatize because it takes you to the base of Mawenzi Peak, the striking eastern peak of Mount Kilimanjaro hiking. The hike lasts for around four to five hours round trip and ascends to a height of 4,600 meters before returning to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 –Horombo Hut- Kibo Hut

The scenery turn out to be more rocky and rough as you leave behind Kibo ,everlasting flower and other bizarre alpine plants Massive groundsels and lobelias appear in the sparse moorland. The trail up to Kibo will take between five and seven hours. Skirting Mawenzi Peak ass you pass the Last Water point then you cross a stark, almost lunar landscape to the Saddle which is a wide tundra desert between the two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. Here you will start getting fantastic views of the upper ranges of the mountain before arriving at Kibo Hut (4,705m), a dry-stone-walled hut with dorms and limited facilities. Tonight you prepare for tomorrow’s final assault – THE SUMMIT – re-packing to leave any non-essential items with the porters; you need to summon all your energy to get to the summit so there’s absolutely no point in carrying anything you don’t need! An early night is imperative as you must make a midnight start in order to reach the summit in the morning before the cloud cover settles, and then have time to get back down to the hut. Overnight stay at Kibo Hut for 1 night (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Day 5 – Uhuru Peak

The 6 days 5 nights Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking, Climbing, Trekking Via Marangu route This is a long and demanding day! The guides wake you soon after midnight and you start out in the darkness, zigzagging up a long scree slope by the light of your torch in the extreme cold. At this time of day, the scree is still frozen – which makes it easier to walk on! After roughly two hours you should reach Hans Meyer’s Cave – named after the German geologist who made the first successful ascent in 1889 – where he found the remains of a frozen leopard. The gradient gets steeper and three hours on (this is the hardest stretch of the climb! you should reach the crater rim at Johanna’s Notch. From here it’s a short scramble to Gillman’s Point (5,685m) in time for dawn. Your reward is the dramatic spectacle of the sun rising over the ice fields and craggy peaks of Mawenzi – the profusion of colors and shapes makes all the suffering seem worthwhile! For those who still have the energy and drive, it takes another couple of hours along the crater Rim to reach Uhuru (Freedom) Peak (5,896m). Your descent (approx. 3 hours) retraces the route back down past Kibo Hut to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Overnight stay at Horombo Hut for 1 night (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Day 6 – Back To Moshi.

On the final day of six days and five nights spent hiking, climbing, and trekking Mount Kilimanjaro As you make your victorious way back down over an alpine meadow and through the jungle past Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate, where you join the vehicle for the trip back to Moshi, the pace picks up.

5 Days Mount Kilimanjaro hiking | climbing | trekking Via Marangu route from Arusha and Moshi
Product category:
#Marangu Route

Marangu route details
Potential climbers may believe that the Marangu Route is a straightforward route to the summit because it has been called the "Coca-Cola" route. To be quite honest, this is not the case! It is not necessarily easier than any other route only because it takes at least 5 days to finish. The track passes through lush rainforest, heath, and moorland before reaching an alpine desert, the arctic zone, and finally the summit. The same route is taken back down. If you're interested in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, this safari is a fantastic opportunity!

Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut.

The Mount Kilimanjaro national park Gate (1,830 m.), which is near Marangu, a lovely community with several tiny coffees and banana plantations, may be visited after a brief drive from Moshi town. After completing the admission procedures, we ascend through a lovely, untouched forest to reach the clearing where Mandara Hut is located (2,700 m.). Maundi Crater's volcanic ruins are nearby and a fun day adventure. Another option is to relax and take in the stunning woodland. The huts have a diverse bird population, and monkeys are frequently spotted there as well. (3-5 hours on foot to reach Mandara Hut).

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
The Mount Kilimanjaro hike begins with a hard rise through a forest, but it soon emerges into grassland moorland with good views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks in clear weather. To ultimately reach Horombo Hut, you continue to climb across the moorland area, which has huge heather and sporadic patches of groundsel (3,720 m.). The position is near to the glaciated dome of Kibo, and there is a true sensation that you are above the clouds. Sunrises and sunsets here are frequently incredibly beautiful. [Walking from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut takes 4-6 hours]

Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
As you reach the Saddle, a lunar desert situated halfway between Mawenzi and Kibo, you rise very gradually. The environment is dominated by the screed, and a sense of the isolated, high-altitude wilderness is discernible. The crater wall's base, Kibo Hut (4,700 m), is where we often reach by lunchtime. The afternoon is then free (to organize the summit ascent!). To prepare for the last ascent and an early night, the remainder of the day is spent sleeping and eating. [It takes 4-5 hours to walk from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut]

Day 4: Summit Day then down to Horombo Hut
On the fourth day of the 5 days and 4 nights Mount Kilimanjaro hiking, trekking, and climbing through the Marangu Route, You will start our journey by torchlight at around one in the morning so that we may reach Gillman's Point in time for dawn. If you go slowly but steadily, it will take us around five or six hours to get to Gillman's (5,685 m). On shaky volcanic screens, the initial ascent is steep, but there are numerous well-graded zigzags. You'll pause there for a bit to take in the morning. Those in good enough form may make the three-hour round trip from here to Uhuru Peak (5,896 m), passing through the spectacular glaciers that still cover most of the summit region. You unintentionally descend quickly and return to Horombo Hut for the evening. [ from Kibo Hut via foot to

Day 5: Horombo Hut – Moshi
On the Final day, After breakfast, you will start with a pleasant moorland walk to Mandara and then a lovely forest walk to the Mount Kilimanjaro National Park gates to Moshi town at the hotel where you will overnight (BB)
The greenness and lushness of the forest are quite a stunning contrast to the summit day, and it really makes you realize how varied the scenery on Mount Kilimanjaro really is. [5-6 hours walking

The heather is dominated by fanciful plantations and heavenly-sized trees, while the dry plains are dotted with ancient desert species. At the Second Caves Camp (3150m / 3–4 hours), a hot lunch will be served. Small trips to the Third Cave are a possibility; these will help with acclimatization, but lounging is also an alternative. 8 nights and 7 days hiking, trekking, and climbing tour of Mount Kilimanjaro through the Rongai route You'll head to the Mawenzi Tarn Hut after breakfast (4,330m). We momentarily leave the arid wildlife and plants of the moorland as we move into a wilderness region. We carry driving across a low desert area. The inviting aromas of your delicious home-cooked lunch will fill the Mawenzi Tarn Hut. with a 3- to 4-hour trek up 6000 meters. We'll arrive at Gillman's Point over a rocky route lined with wildflowers that are bursting forth from the ground with their azure gongs attached (5685m). The gusty wind scatters the pollen, which flies like floating fairy dust grains. The hardest part of the route is right here. The walk to Uhuru Peak's final two hours begins at Gillman's Point (5895m). The sparkling landscape is obscured by slender clouds and pale streaks on Africa's rooftop. Clouds and pale streaks cover the rather brilliant scenery. As the sun begins to rise, the sky takes on an amethyst-purple color; shortly, the sky will catch fire in the cozy warmth of tree flame. The sugar-frosted covering gleams as the sun casts a golden brightness over the ice fields. Before beginning the descent to Kibo Hut, where we will stop for a break, we will take in the scenery and appreciate everything you have done. Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park, which stretches for kilometers along the emerald base of the gold-flecked Rift Valley escarpment, can only be characterized as a collection of panoramas. From a distance, giraffes with such dark coloring look like they are black, and lions that can scale trees prowl the savannah plains. Hippos conceal themselves in the waters of the soda lake while monkeys cling to the forest's canopy. A birdwatcher's paradise, Lake Manyara has almost 400 different species. Buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, mongooses, klipspringers, and bushbuck are a few of the animals that may be seen there. Following the wildlife drive, a delicious picnic lunch will be given in the park. We'll take the car back to Arusha.
