At The Class Acting Studios, we bridge the gap between the classroom and set. Our studio is more than a training ground; it’s where actors, writers, and directors build real careers in film and television.

Whether you’re just starting your journey or ready to level up your craft, our programs are designed to challenge, guide, and prepare you for real work on real projects. You won’t just study the craft; you’ll do it. Students collaborate on professional film productions, dive into workshops, and sharpen their skills in a supportive, high-standard environment that pushes you to grow.

Training includes Scene Study, Meisner Technique, Improv, Audition Coaching, Private Lessons, Speed Scenes, Accelerated Small Group Scene Class, and our Writers & Directors Program: a unique opportunity for students who want to create, write, and direct original work while gaining the same professional development support as actors.

Open to teens and adults (ages 13+), every class and program is customized to meet you where you are, from complete beginners to working professionals. You’ll master character development, performance technique, storytelling, and on-set readiness, so when the camera’s rolling, you’re ready.

Scene Technique

Teaches how to break down a scene, approach a character, be present in the moment, how to prepare and how to be instinctual. Four week classes include in depth teaching, scene coaching, character work, custom scenes assigned from our in house catalog and type assessments. This class provides a tailored experience taking into account each actor's starting point, dreams and goals. Scripts are assigned based on these specifics and become more challenging as students' abilities grow. Ongoing students receive two resume credits: Scene Technique and Advanced Scene Technique. Once admitted to the Advanced Scene Technique level students will also participate in mock auditions, chemistry reads, self tape coaching and more complex scene work.

Meisner Technique

Created by Sanford Meisner, The Meisner Technique provides approachable stages that enable the actor to fully 'live truthfully under imaginary circumstances." This groundbreaking technique can take a brand new actor from no experience to accessing the deepest of emotions with complete honesty. Training is designed to develop truthful, instinctual, emotionally rich performances by focusing on presence, listening, authenticity and sensitivity to both the scene partner(s) and circumstances.

Improv Class

Teaches instinct with flexibility and quick decision making within the framework of imaginary circumstances. Improv has the ability to enhance a wide variety of skills that include: listening and responding, recall, focus, continuity and confidence for the student. Improv training is necessary for the development of an actor and is highly sought by casting

Private Coaching

One-on-one coaching by the hour, in person or over Zoom, ideal for upcoming auditions, long term development, talent agency submissions or arts school prep. Once booked, the studio coordinates a time that works best for you and your instructor.

Youth Acting Class(7th Grade-12th Grade)

A dynamic intro to acting for film and television that covers on-camera technique, character development, improv, voiceover and scene study, with on-camera training and industry preparation.

Writers and Directors Program

Write your script, cast student actors, and direct your scene over a month with instructor support. Bring your own material or use prompts, with an accessible, customized process and peer-selected concepts guiding production. Students can choose to write, direct or both.

On Set Experience

Goal Coaching

Personalized one year plans with step by step guidance on which classes to take and clear, tailored milestones created to take the guesswork out of becoming an established actor working within the industry.

Speed Scenes

Professionally produced short films with custom scripts, on set coaching, crew, editing, a custom movie poster, and an optional IMDb credit.

Commercial Production

Full service commercial production using in house writers, directors, actors, and crew. Quotes available by request.

Headshots

Private sessions that include both a session director, to guide actors through their session, and a LA/NY trained headshot photographer for headshots. Session includes guidance on types, wardrobe and strategy to match your brand.

Networking Events

Local film networking events connect actors, writers, directors, producers, crew and a variety of industry professionals to build organic relationships to foster and build up both the creative and the local community.

Accelerated Small Group Scene Study

Exclusive limited seat scene study with a small class size, deeper notes, added career coaching and actor branding support that is designed to accelerate actors' growth and development in less time. This is the only class that includes custom written scripts with the ability for students to collaborate directly on their scripts with in-house directors.

Student Led Feature Film

Advanced scene technique students collaborate on a student written, directed, and acted feature with months of rehearsal and real on set experience. Successful completed feature films are then submitted to film festivals, added to IMDb and revealed at a red carpet premiere.
