General information:

Coworking, although in existence for many years, is still a relatively new and therefore unknown in France working mode. Share their workplace with strangers can be a little confusing for some even scary at first.
For two years now that I run a coworking space, I saw a parade of hundreds of people. And those who have become "coolworkers" have a clear set of common values.

1 - Do not get in "Conquistador"

Be aware that becoming a member of a coworking space, you will in fact become part of a community. When I say community, I speak of a small group closed in on itself, but rather a group of people from knowing more or less long, shared values, and having mostly forged ties friendships. So rather than try to impose on others coworkers, stay natural and your community integration will itself.

2 - Discuss with coworkers

Since you share a more or less supported your workspace with others rhythm, feel free to share with them. There are places and times conducive to the exchange. The coffee, lunch, a drink improvised are excellent opportunities to know your coworkers and let you know them. You then find that synergies will emerge naturally;-)

3 - Immerse yourself in the 'local culture'

In Most coworking spaces have been developed over time habits and customs. This is part of the life of a space and do not try to go against. It may as well take the Belote, as the ping pong that organizes lunchtime after eating. It is sometimes confusing, but you say that if these patterns persist is that they are beneficial to the life of the group. They certainly come out of the context of what you have experienced so far, especially if you work in more traditional office so far, but let you try from time to time. This will be another opportunity to interact with other coworkers and discover a more "relaxed" approach to work without compromising productivity (we are still all here to work!).

4 - Share your hobbies

A fun way to create links with other coworkers to provide them to share one of your passions. Typically, you like running, you are a champion roller, you love knitting and crochet ... Submit your coworkers to try with you! Between noon and two in the evening after work or even on the weekend! A coolworking for example, 5 or 6 is to have set coworkers surfing during the year. We regularly (especially in summer) mornings surf together and we go to work all afternoon. It is user friendly, good for health and it is more productive after that!
