What are the main differences between screen printing and digital printing?

Screen printing, the traditional method of t-shirt printing, utilizes mesh screen stencils to apply each color in your design one by one. It’s more cost-effective for larger quantities or designs with fewer colors and has a minimum order of 12 pieces. Digital printing, on the other hand, uses large inkjet printers to print all colors directly onto the fabric, suitable for multicolored designs or smaller orders, even just one t-shirt. Start by selecting an apparel option from our catalog, using a t-shirt design template, or jumping right into the Design Studio with a blank canvas. Whichever path you choose to design your own clothing, you can change styles and colors, use our clip art and templates, or upload your own images to create the perfect design. When you’re ready, proceed to checkout to pick sizes, quantities, and the print method that suits you best. How is the total cost of my order figured out?

Your order cost starts with the apparel type and color you choose, which range from economical to premium depending on style and material. The second factor is the number of print locations. You can design on the front and back, but using only one location keeps costs lower. For screen printing, we also consider the number of colors in your design and provide bulk discounts for larger orders.
