The Mardi Himal Trekking route was discovered a decade earlier in the Annapurna region. However, before 2011, the trekking route was not popular among the trekkers; rather it was popular among the campers.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is opened in 1992 by offering a combination of reach cultural heritage and a great bio-diversity. Manaslu Round Trek offers real scenic views of the mountains and rural cultural trails. One can explore traditional villages with their flat-rooted timber houses and workshops in secluded Buddhist monasteries.

Trekking Around Manaslu begins from the Arughat of Gorkha district, western part of Nepal and follows upstream of the Budi Gandaki river. From Kathmandu we follows the Prithvi Highway until we reach Malekhu bazaar then cross the Trishuli River which takes about 2–3 hours. Then we continue about 17 km to Dhading Besi. From Dhading we leave for Arughat by sealed road. The road passes through Palpa, Jyamire, Gola Bhangyang, Amkhu Khola Bridge, and Budhi Gandaki River to reach Arught.
