Globally, 280m people are visually impaired and 39m totally blind. 80% of eye disease can be cured, but innovation is needed to disrupt and improve how people diagnose, treat, and live with eye disease.
EyeFocus invests in and accelerates startups solving these problems. We provide startups with finance, mentoring, entrepreneurship education, product development, and ophthalmology support. Having a very focussed accelerator allows us to offer targeted support for startups in this field. We are focussed on building the eye-care ecosystem, bringing together all the experts, investors, mentors, and companies in this space around the 12 week accelerator program.
