Ingen.io provides APIs for text understanding. The flagship is the Context API which recreates context and surfaces additional information from unstructured text. APIs for Language Detection, Part of Speech Tagging and Text Classification are provided separetely or in combination witht he Context API.
The major difference between Ingen.io and other text analysis solutions is that we don't rely on training data, therefore our extractions are not biased towards more popular objects. For example in: "Paris is the daughter of Richard Hilton" the competition will mark Paris as a place, as it is more often used as such. Ingen.io, on the other hand, relying on its internally developed Knowledge Graph will correctly identify it as Paris Hilton.
