ISTARIUM offers a standardized, security solution for industrial production facilities and all sensitive data communication between SCADA/MES and the equipment on the factory floor. The decentralised architecture ensures a plug-and-play like, admin-free use, therefore freeing administrative resources, reducing firewalls and protecting all data communication from any manipulation. They focus on medium sized manufacturers in security sensitive branches where the gap between needed security requirements and available resources is highest. Their vision is to generally increase the level of data security in the SME sector to be prepared for future IIoT, Smart Factory or other digitalized industrial supply chains to come.
ISTARIUM was founded in July 2017 in Munich, Germany.
ISTARIUM is currently in the concept stage, and is looking for broad support in industrial contacts and partners to challenge and to bring forward ISTARIUM.
