We're bringing a solution to a globally growing issue of kids rather playing than learning.
Children waste far too much time on smartphones and tablets. Time that could be spent doing something useful. KidED has a solution. A clever app that runs on the background of other activities and pauses the ongoing activity at pre-set intervals overlaying the screen with
educating questions.
Most of the existing educational apps need parental guidance or supervision to keep the child engaged and when left unattended the child will most likely find something more fun to do, like playing a game or watching a video. KidED is built very differently and holds huge value to parents who lack time and struggle with their kids being stuck to the screen.
With KidED parents can choose from a wide variety of subjects and monitor their child’s progress identifying strengths and weak spots. The structure and content has been developed by a team of cognitive scientists and children's psychologists from the University of Tartu.
Equipped with a screen-lock timer KidED also gives parents an opportunity to regulate how long their child can use a smartphone or tablet per day.
All in the name of helping parents raise smart and healthy kids, who enjoy learning.
