What does “unlimited graphic design” mean?
Kimp’s unlimited graphic design service includes unlimited requests and unlimited revisions. This means that you can make as any requests as you'd like, and we'll work through them as quickly as possible. Once you submit your requests, your dedicated Project Manager will review them, to ensure we have all the details required. Then they'll assign them to your design team. By default, your requests will be completed in the order you submit them. But if you ever need to change the order, or prioritize a certain task, or tasks, you can do so by letting our Project Manager know. On average you'll receive 2-3 designs to review, per business day (this applies to designs like social media posts, web banners and single sided print designs). If you've got a more complex design request we'll let you know how much longer it will take. And as we work together, and get to know your brand(s) and vision better, the review and revision process will get faster and faster. So you'll be able to get an increasing number of design projects completed, and only ever pay our flat monthly fee.
How long do requests take to complete?
We work on your requests on a first-come, first-served basis. They are entered into your design team’s queue in the order that they are received. Your team then works on delivering them. On average you'll receive 2-3 designs to review, per business day (this applies to designs like social media posts, web banners and single sided print designs). If you’ve got a more complex task like a lengthy presentation deck or brochure, let us know and we’ll provide an estimate on how long it’ll take
How does the trial work?
You sign up, you try us out for 7 days, and you cancel if you decide it's not the right fit. You are not billed during the trial period. You get billed only after day 7 and you don’t have to sign any contracts to continue with Kimp. Our service is delivered month-to-month for a flat monthly rate. So why do we collect payment details when you sign up? To ensure we are only onboarding clients who are seriously considering our service. Below are guidelines for the trial as well as some tips to help you determine if Kimp is right for you: During your trial you can make 3 requests to test our service, workflow and design quality The following requests are not fulfilled during trials: Logos We do not fulfill logo requests during trials as they often involve vague or unclear briefs since brand guidelines aren't yet available. At the same time, Logos often require many revisions as clients consider different options for how they want their branding to look. This again means that the trial often doesn't allow enough time for a client's branding process. In addition, over time we've found that many clients who request a logo during the trial period are often just looking to get some branding completed, on a complimentary basis, and don't actually have recurring design needs. This is why we've implemented the policy regarding logos during the trial period. The following requests are not encouraged during trials: -Ebooks -PPT presentations Ebooks and PPT presentations involve complex or lengthy briefs, so we do not encourage making requests for these designs during a trial if you want to assess Kimp based on completed outputs. While it's possible to receive process work for ebooks and PPT presentations during a trial, due to their complex and/or lengthy requirements, they often require more time than the trial will allow to complete (especially when taking revision requests into account). Please refer to our FAQ on the types of designs Kimp can create for ideas on what to request during your trial: https://support.kimp.io/en-us/article/what-kind-of-designs-can-kimp-create-1x02okf/ We recommend making your 3 requests all at once so that we can ask for clarification and then work through them, and any revisions you’ll require, as quickly as possible. This way you'll get a good sense of what working with your Kimp Team is like. And you'll be able to make a confident decision within your 7 day trial about whether you'd like a full subscription.
Tell me more about your team. Where are they located?
Kimp’s HQ is in Markham, Ontario, Canada and operates in EST. Our design team members, meanwhile, are full-time Kimp employees, who work from our offices in different time zones. Together we ensure that our clients get timely responses to their inquiries, and have their design requests fulfilled as quickly as they need them to be. Kimp does not outsource work, or work with freelancers, as an important part of our service is being able to provide consistently high-quality designs to our clients. We also believe in the importance of building strong teams and creating environments that they can thrive in. Because we love giving our team members the opportunity to go bananas with graphic design too.
My business is rapidly expanding. Can you keep up?
Absolutely. If you need more than one designer to handle your requests, you can add additional subscriptions at any time.
I have a really time-sensitive request. What do I do?
If a request is especially time-sensitive, you can indicate this when submitting your request details. We’ll do our best to bump it up in the queue and advise you of the delivery time.
How many requests can I submit at a time?
You can submit an unlimited number of requests. Your dedicated Project Manager will review them, to ensure we have all the details required, and then assign them to your design team. By default, your requests will be completed in the order you submit them. But if you ever need to change the order, or prioritize a certain task, or tasks, you can do so by letting our Project Manager know. We get it. Sometimes priorities shift and deadlines change. So we're happy to be as flexible as possible to help you meet yours.
What details should my design request include?
Include these details every time for the best results: size, orientation, format (print or digital), preferred colours, inspiration designs, and text copy. The more descriptive you can be, the fewer revisions will be required.
