Laborom is a startup developing a digital diabetes diary and blood pressure logbook on iOS and Android for people living with diabetes or other chronic diseases. It helps them manage and control their condition by smart visualisation of their health data.
The MVP has been downloaded 45,000 times from 188 countries. The full release of the app has been localised into the top 11 languages from where the downloads were coming. As a result of this, and redesigned UX and functions based on user feedback, the number of weekly active users trippled since the relaunch and has been continuously growing since.
The core team is made up of 3 friends of 15 years: a B2B sales guru, a medical doctor and health policy expert and a digital marketing specialist. The company also boasts a medical engineer, an iOS, an Android, a backend developer and a UX designer. The company has a team of advisors including a medical doctor with type 1 diabetes and also the founder of Diabetes Youth Advocates Europe.
The company raised EUR 85,000 from CEED Tech accelerator, Digital Factory, including a follow on investement after the program.
