At Logic Health, we perform Medicals for a range of White Collar job & Blue Collar job.
Logic Health provides Periodic Medicals that can be customised and performed regularly over the course of an individual’s employment. This helps to ensure that they are not being affected by the work they are performing and reducing chances of injury. These can be tailored to the particular job or industry whilst also meeting regulatory requirements, particularly where employees are working in an environment where they may be exposed to noise, dust, vibrations, chemicals or hazardous substances.
Commercial Driver Medicals are required to meet the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme and are designed for drivers of trucks, public passenger vehicles, and vehicles carrying dangerous goods. The medical assesses the driver’s health and fitness to ensure road safety by decreasing the risk of a crash and covers such standards as the fatigue management given drivers’ extensive hours spent on the road. These can be completed as part of a pre-employment or periodic medical and includes – Drivers Medical + Audiometry.
A Coal Board Medical is required for any individual employed or applying to work in the Coal Mine Industry. These medicals can provide early detection of any respiratory diseases that are common in mine workers. Regulated by the Queensland government, the Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme protects the health and safety of all employees and contractors by ensuring they complete the compulsory health assessments.
Due to the nature of diving, all students are required to be medically fit to dive, while commercial divers require an annual diving medical to maintain certification. A diving medical may uncover issues such as conditions that affect the ear, nose and throat, or lung functionality, which can expose divers to the risk of serious injury or death while diving. These medicals must meet Australian Standard AS 4005.1 and SPUMS. These period medicals are valid for 12 months from the date of completion.
Logic Health can design and carry out customised pre-employment functional assessments that accurately assess an individual’s functional capacity to perform their job safely.
The Job Specific Functional Assessment process allows us to accurately assess the specific physical demands of a job. Logic Health selects physical tests that objectively assess an individual’s ability to meet the critical demands of their role and provide detailed feedback to the employer. With this information, it enables employers to make an informed decision regarding a candidate’s physical ability, ultimately reducing the risk of injury in their workplace.
Rail Category Medical assessments are designed to ensure that all rail workers are safely able to competently carry out the duties of their role, including the ability to hear instructions and maintain awareness of their surroundings, whilst in the rail corridor.

Working with hazardous materials requires medical and physical examinations to determine whether long term exposure has presented any serious effects on individuals and requires further special treatment. The National Occupational Health and Safety Commission recommends regular health monitoring to prevent injuries, diseases and other fatalities.
