Movelets are the first central component of the Movilizer technology and virtually represent real business scenarios.
A Movelet can be regarded as a building block: they allow your business process to be described in terms of screens, flows, business rules and business logic. They are device and technology agnostic.
The Movilizer App consists of one or a combination of Movelets; they form a (partial) screen or an entire process within the app. Technically a Movelet is an XML file which can contain:
The Movilizer Connectors are translation tools provided by the Movilizer Platform in order to speed up system integration. They allow any back-end system to connect to the Movilizer Cloud Platform and expose data and business processes. As the Connectors are installed on your back-end system, all of this happens in a fully controlled, secure environment.
Movilizer offers various out-of-the-box connectors or gives the option to build your own.
The Movilizer Cloud is a multi-tenant and hosted platform, accessible via web-services. You access the platform via our Movilizer Portal.
As central junction of back-end & devices the Movilizer Cloud eliminates any investment in new infrastructure. All typical functionalities of a middleware are available as a service.
The Movilizer Client acts as a Secure App Container. All Movelets assigned to users are deployed within it and can make use of the client container's capabilities. The client can make use of all the device's capabilities (radios, camera, resources,etc.).
One of the key features of Movilizer is that you can truly develop once and deploy it on any mobile device. The Movilizer Client works with 8 different OS platforms. No change of code is required, your apps will be deployed and run within each of these clients on their designated platforms.
