Why we do what we do
Outfit7 is the entertainment company that created the Talking Tom and Friends franchise; the global phenomenon that made mobile history with one billion downloads within three years of its launch in 2010.
OUR COMPANY
The company was formed just one year earlier by a group of creative minds and entrepreneurs. With a mission to bring fun and entertainment to all, these experts in the field of online search realized that direct engagement with users was key and that a new interactive and animated animal app would provide the fun and entertainment they were looking to create. Their first creation was Talking Tom.
Talking Tom first launched on iPhone and android in 2010. The charismatic cat is now instantly recognized the world over and Outfit7 was the first company to reach 300 million downloads within 19 months.
OUR CHARACTERS
There are now six characters (Talking Tom, Talking Angela, Talking Ginger, Talking Ben, Talking Pierre, and Talking Hank) and a total of 14 apps within the Talking Tom and Friends umbrella brand. Now a successful entertainment franchise, Talking Tom and Friends has extended its reach beyond the mobile arena and into video, web shorts, music, toys and games.
OUR APPS
In addition to the Talking Tom and Friends brand portfolio, Outfit7 has developed several other apps offering fun, family-friendly entertainment and interactivity; most recently it launched Jigty, a jigsaw puzzle app. The company’s mobile publishing platform, Fun Network, offers external developers across the globe an opportunity to tap into Outfit7’s skilled team and global marketing platform. To-date the Fun Network has published 12 apps on iOS and Android platforms. We are cooperating with PRIVO to assure privacy compliance and are a supporter of the Online privacy matters campaign.
