Plus Technologies Pricing
Plus Technologies employs several pricing models as follows.
Initial License Fee – Perpetual Right-to-Use License
The customer is provided a perpetual right-to-use software license. In this model the customer pays a one time, Initial License Fee (ILF) and the first year of technical support. Technical support fees are renewed annually starting on the first anniversary of the sale. The price is based on a combination of factors including:
- Number of print queues defined to the system
- Product options required
- Technical support options required
Usage Based License and Pricing
The customer is provided a limited term right-to-use software license for as long as desired, to run the software. In this model the customer pays fees based solely on the actual product usage. Product usage is based on the total number of devices. There are no up front license fees. The license grant includes right-to-use as well as well as technical support. Customer payments are made quarterly. The price rate is based on product configuration.
Subscription License – Limited Term Right-to-Use
The customer is provided a limited term right-to-use software license for 12, 36, or 60 months. In this model the customer pays a subscription fee based on a monthly rate, in lieu of an ILF. The license grant includes right-to-use as well as technical support. Customer payments can be made for entire duration of the contract, annually or quarterly based on customer preference. The cost of license subscription is typically less than the ILF model for the first and second years with the break-even point being reached approximately at the end of three years.

- Technical support options required
Custom Facilities License – Pricing
For large enterprise level customers Plus Technologies provides custom pricing and licensing. This is typically for customers who have many sites/servers. In this environment, Plus Technologies will customize the perpetual or limited term license to suit the individual customer’s needs. In addition, the pricing for these licenses are also customized to suit.
