1. Application

Tell us about your startup. If you already have a company, that has a product and a team, you are right with us (no slideware, no solo founders, sorry!). We will invest if you are an early stage company in internet / mobile, in our region (CEE, Centrope and the like) and you search for an investment below 500.000 EUR.

2. Screening

One of our team will take a close look. We try to be knowledgeable about many industries & verticals and will do a quick assessment of market, competition and your proposition, make quick cross checks within our network and get a basic feeling for your team and your idea. Until this point, it will take 2 weeks maximum, so that you know early on if we like to intensify our discussions or if you should and could focus on something else.

3. Investment Case Preparation & IC

This will be the most intense phase: together we evaluate all aspects of your business and create the investment case. A proposal that will then be submitted to our Investment Committee (IC) that will have the final vote on the investment. It decides on the deal and gives feedback that needs to be tackled before the investment.

4. Termsheet

After the formal OK from the IC, we’ll develop a termsheet, our offer to you concerning our work involvement and the financial investment. After we agreed on the terms, we’ll sign off all legal documents and get started immediately. The whole process as described here should be done within 3 months maximum, in many cases we’ll be faster.

5. Work

Now the fun part starts, we work together, in many cases someone from our team will join your team and take on a role that we jointly defined.
