In overall terms, the product is a website management platform where web agencies can provide their end users with a tool that is as easy to set up on as Wix, while being as expandable as WordPress when the end user’s business grows.

Our customers are the web agencies that are facing a huge challenge in the Do-It-Yourself age of website development. Right now, 50% of all websites are set up with a Content Management System (CMS) which converts to 900 million sites that are running on a CMS. If agencies want to be relevant for users in the future, they have to be able to provide an easy way of getting started, where the end user can quickly do an MVP themselves. If the agency is able to attract the end users in the early stage of their website, they can much easilier provide their services to them at a later stage, when more professional skills are required. This is exactly what we want to provide with our solution in SpeedCore.

For the end user, our platform is a way to get started quickly and in a very intuitive manner, similar to how they would start their digital product on Wix, Squarespace etc. But in contrast to these closed-box solutions, the end user can also expand their site as their business grows on SpeedCore. This becomes a possibility as SpeedCore solely operates in open source, so the end user can avoid one of the most common issues of “outgrowing” Wix and Squarespace. That can easily become very expensive as the agency helping the user, would then have to rebuild the entire site, while if the user already uses open source, there is around 50,000 plugins to choose from to expand their site. In short, the end user gets the opportunity with SpeedCore to get started easily and quickly, while still being able to expand their site later on with professional help at their fingertips from the agency.
