MAY I SEND AN UNSOLICITED APPLICATION?

WHICH DOCUMENTS SHOULD I SEND WITH MY APPLICATION?

Please include your CV and a brief cover letter in your application. If you are applying for a creative position, include examples of your work in the form of an online portfolio or by creating a download link.

MAY I APPLY FOR SEVERAL JOBS AT ONCE?

Of course! We’re always pleased when candidates are excited about several positions. Just be sure to submit your application for every position separately, and explain why you are interested in them and what relevant qualifications you have.

SHOULD I SEND MY APPLICATION IN ENGLISH OR GERMAN?

English is always good. If the job description is posted in German only, you can assume that submitting your application in German is perfectly fine as well.

DO I NEED TO SPEAK FLUENT GERMAN AND ENGLISH TO WORK AT URBANARA?

While English is the official language at URBANARA, we do not expect perfection. Most meetings are conducted in English though, so you should be comfortable working in the language on a daily basis. Some positions do require German language skills; check the job description for specific requirements.

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR THE INTERVIEW?

The interview process is an opportunity for us to get to know you a bit better, and find out what you can bring to the team. We won’t ask any trick questions. It is therefore a good idea to spend some time thinking about what you would like us to know about you. Make sure that you have read the job description thoroughly, and understand what is required for the position.
