Requests:

• 5+ years of experience working with AIX.
• Must be able to work independently as well as with a group
• Understanding of security best practices for multi-tiered operating systems
• Understanding of backup process, system monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery and scripting for AIX / VIO.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills (English required)
• Ability to develop strong client relationships
• Experience in a large enterprise environment with thousands of servers.
• Experience with Enterprise level Change/Incident/Problem Management
• Must have knowledge of IBM P6/P7/P8
• Experience with IBM VIOs.
• Experience with managing AIX patches and iFixes
• Experience with creating and managing volume groups, logical volumes and filesystems using AIX's logical volume manager
• Experience with configuring TCP/IP including management of static routes
• Experience with tuning IO, VMO and TCP/IP
• Experience with AIX's Network Installation Manager and/or using NIM to restore mksysb backups, migrating OS levels, booting to maintenance, etc.
• Experience with building and configuring PowerHA SystemMirror version 7 clusters. 
• Experience with Linux a plus
