Android Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and development of existing Android applications
- Development of demos and prototype apps for research purposes in new tech areas
- Implementation and creation of documentations and specifications in English
- Working in a team, quality checking own code, collaborating with a tester team and project management
- Debugging and fixing code related issues in existing software
Qualifications
- Confident and extensive knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of object-oriented development techniques
- Experience in creating modern graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for Android
- Practical knowledge of Android development environments (Eclipse and Android Studio)
- Basic knowledge of web based technologies (HTTP, REST, Json, Xml)
- Has or uses an Android smart phone regularly
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to work
- Working proficiency in English
Preferred Skills
- Experience in development for platforms other than Android (iOS, Windows Phone)
- C/C++ experience
- Server-side programming / scripting experience
