You are experienced in defining overall vehicle architecture, powertrain and other systems layouts and high-level specifications of the main components, recently looking to step up to something new and ground-breaking? Your skills and experience are important, but to be successful in this role, your mindset is equally important.

1) Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical design analysis, planning, requirements analysis, systems integration & architecture
  • Manage, document and communicate systems progress, plans and set expectations for successful solution deployment
  • Provide overall vehicle definition and system layouts
  • Work with the cross-discipline development and design engineers to ensure the relevant subsystems are designed with appropriate requirements, interfaces and interactions to achieve specific vehicle functions
  • Define key characteristics and functionalities for each component/function and define development requirements
  • Package components in CAD software and define their interface
  • Define Bill of Materials (BOM) documents, as well as usage and installation instructions
  • Provide support to assembly and testing teams during product operations
  • Define validation tests
  • Supervise the testing of finished products and systems
