Backend Developer

Location: Ljubljana

GateHub is a platform for Internet of Value that operates on top of distributed payment protocol Ripple. We are a fast growing company backed by top investors (Chris Larsen - CEO & Founder of Ripple Labs, Greg Kidd - First round investor @Twitter, Nejc Kodric - CEO & Founder of Bitstamp). Our office is located right in the center of Ljubljana.

As a backend developer at GateHub you are going to be changing the way modern finance works.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5+ years of (preferably professional) programming experience.
  • Fluent in JavaScript with backend experience (NodeJS, io.js…).

Bonus points

  • You know other languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, etc…
  • You’re a team player.
  • You’re not afraid of databases such as Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search.
  • You dream about RESTful APIs.
  • You have a strong understanding of information security and secure programming.
  • You GIT it.
