Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Practice Manager, you will be responsible for developing the business for Tibco Professional Services.
What You'll Do
- Identify, qualify, develop, and close consulting service engagements with a focus on account expansion
- Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities
- Provide client consultations about company products or services, and make product presentations for clients
- Develop customized programs to meet client needs and close business
- Develop new business opportunities with potential and existing clients to achieve revenue goals
- Provide outstanding services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work in compliance with company standards and business guidelines
- Address customer concerns and queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Regular travel will be largely confined to the western region of the country on an as-needed basis
Who You Are
- You are currently working in a similar role for a systems integration firm or consulting organization selling projects and technology solutions
- Experience should include: front line technical consulting, either as an individual contributor or project manager; consulting management
- Familiarity with application(s) of TIBCO Technology, or TIBCO-like products
- Extensive, relevant experience of selling professional services to executive level prospects
- Credibility at all levels and evidence of building strong relationships internally and with the customer
- Structured and rigorous yet able to take risks where necessary & solutions minded
- Possess a strong service orientation and finds challenge in problem solving complex situations
- Demonstrable track record of sales over achievement
