The WorldRemit Office in Kraków is currently growing and we are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineers to join our CloudOps Team and help us operate, monitor and troubleshoot our cloud infrastructure.

You will be someone who likes to:

  • write infrastructure as code in fast and elegant way
  • perform infrastructure tests

You will have high bar for quality, maintainability, scalability, performance, efficiency, security and all the other things that make great solutions great.

You’ll help the team to:

  • Evolve, improve and replace our existing cloud systems
  • Creating creative cloud solutions
  • Developing monitoring strategies for infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot issues with cooperation with DevOps/Engineering teams

Some things about you:

  • Solid understanding of Linux system and network administration
  • Solid Python knowledge
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with cloud management solutions like Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with application performance monitoring systems like Dynatrace/AppDynamics/NewRelic
  • Experience with logging systems like Splunk
  • Experience with incident management systems like PagerDuty
  • Experience with integration solutions like Zapier
  • Experience with scripting languages like Bash
  • Experience in, or happy to learn, other stacks
  • Ability to work in 24/7 organised team
