COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Type: Full-time.
Location: Asmali Mescit, Beyoglu.
Working Hours: Flexible, in an 8-hour sync with the team
Responsibilities:
Online content creation – blog posts, articles, newsletters, and social media posts.
Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing Volt’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other strategically relevant online outlets
Member relations – This entails answering user questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Twitter, App Store Reviews, etc) as well as moderating both the community and social media interactions
Public Relations – managing incoming media requests; creating press releases and growing Volt’s blogger outreach
Events and event planning – attending and coordinating with events in Istanbul regarding transportation and planning meetups for Volt’s community
Requirements:
Good command of English. Native Turkish.
Ideally up to one year of experience
Mobile and Internet Savvy. Passion for technology and social media.
You should be an active social media user with good understanding of all major platforms
Outgoing personality with a good presentation & public speaking skills. You will be expected to walk into events and be comfortable introducing yourself to strangers
Exceptional writing skills – a background in journalism or experience with writing helps since you’ll be creating so much content
Having experience with public relations is a BIG PLUS!
Top talent (bachelor/university degree) coupled with Marketing interest/passion
Leadership/Self starting capabilities, collaboration skills, creativity and strategic analysis
Able to work autonomously with minimal guidance and to drive business decisions using data insights
