Country Manager, Denmark

Are you a smart marketer with a digital mindset? Can you grow and maintain our community of football players in Denmark?

The Country Manager role is a unique opportunity to help grow and maintain Tonsser’s popular app for football players in the Danish market. This is a critical role not just because Denmark was our very first market, but also because we’ve recently reached an impressive milstone of having over half of Danish football players between the ages of 13 and 19 using the app.

This role calls for a combination of strategic planning and analytics, marketing and leadership. This person should be comfortable in an “all hands on deck” environment, love solving problems, thrive in a startup culture, and above all else be passionate about football.

What you’ll be doing

  • Growth. Design and execute marketing and partnership strategies for the Danish market to hit growth targets.
  • Brand & content. Manage the voice & brand of Tonsser through influencer campaigns, brand ambassadors, and all social channels.
  • Leadership. Manage a passionate team of community managers and build team around you.
  • Partnerships. Identify and manage strategic partnerships to grow the Tonsser brand and build awareness.
  • Analysis. Quantity everything you do. Utilize data-driven decision making to improve the performance of our marketing and business development efforts.

What we’re looking for​

  • 2+ years of experience in consumer marketing, user analytics, and/or consulting experience in a fast paced environment
  • Experience making data-driven marketing decisions using A/B testing and other analytical tools (e.g. Excel)
  • An eye for design, and comfort wielding tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience with product marketing concepts like product positioning, brand strategy, and user experience
  • Adaptable to change and ability to execute quickly
  • People management experience is an asset as you will be managing your own team
