CTO / Front- or Back-End-Developer / Co-Founder

 

Da & Jetzt is a young start-up and a platform which enables the intelligent connection of people in order to outsource any possible tasks to other people. At the right time, at the right location, at low cost and with highest flexibility for the user. A community marketplace for everyday tasks. Just like "you have to do something or you want something, but you don't have the time, you don't feel like doing it, or you just don't know how - but you would be willing to pay someone else to do it." The platform enables quick and efficient help for anything that you need someone for, but just don't have anyone available right now. Any Da & Jetzt user can apply for the task and thereby earn themselves a bit of money. The platform is supposed to make it possible for anyone to get anything done much faster and easier - by using intelligent algorithms and map matching of GPS-based real-time location information.    
Similar and already successful platforms are Airtasker in Australia, TaskRabbit in the U.S., or FrizBiz, HelpyApp and Youpijob (all three in France). Da & Jetzt is supposed to change the way we connect with others and organize our everyday live in the future.

Current state:

At the moment one of the most essential steps is to develop a web-app for desktop and mobile devices, wherefore we are looking for one or two developers (desirably as co-founders). The first aim is to have a representable product in order to contact first users and potential investors.

Important technical requirements of the platform will be: Location- and time-based user posts, user communication, user profiles and verification, payment by account balance (and recharge of the same) and other modes (credit cart / paypal), linking of user posts and user preferences.

 

We are looking for a CTO / Co-founder:

  • You decide and implement the strategy behind the platform together with the team.
  • You are in charge of the technical development/management of the platform.
  • You receive fair and equal shares in the company and revenues of the platform.
  • You have sufficient knowledge and expertise in web and app development. Depending on your own background you are able to integrate other programmers into the development of the platform, especially later on when team and platform are growing.
  • You are either specialized on front-end-, back-end-, or full-stack-web-development.

 

Depending on our potential CTO, we are looking for front-/back-end-developer (also a co-founder):

  • You get along with the CTO ;-)
  • You are willing to take responsibility from the beginning and receive equal shares in the company and revenues of the platform.
  • Requirements for potential front-end-developers: You have sufficient knowledge with HTML5, Javascript, or other frameworks (e.g. jQuery) which enable the front-end-development of a web-app. You also have some expertise with responsive web-design.
  • Requirements for potential back-end-developers: You have sufficient knowledge with an appropriate development environment (e.g. Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Node.js, Vue.js) or any other framework which enables the back-end-development of a web-app.

 

Other requirements:

  • You are always willing to learn something new and to expand your knowledge in mobile application development, in particular with regards to the technical requirements of the platform.
  • You contribute your own opinions/ideas/expertise.
  • You are motivated to jointly solve problems and tackle challenges as a team.
  • You are interested to jointly make the platform a success.
  • You consider long-term shares in the company more valuable than immediate salaries, but are yet willing to provide reliable inputs from the first moment on.
  • You are eager to keep up with the state of technology and implement that into your work.
  • You are motivated to take care of bug-fixing in order to keep the platform reliable.
  • You don’t need any work experience.

 

Reasons to join us:

  • The platform bears large financial potential. For instance, Airtasker in Australia achieved a transaction volume of 40 mio. AUD in 2016, with then around 600.000 registered users. TaskRabbit in the U.S. has so far collected more than 50 mio. USD in investments.

Salary:

  • As there are no financial assets yet, the only thing available at the very moment are the possibility of co-foundation and equally distributed shares (i.e. 15-25% depending on the number of co-founders).
  • The ambition is a team in which all work together for a common success and correspondingly get long-term company and profit shares.
  • As soon as the platform generates first earnings or the team has acquired first financial support and investments, the first salary is possible. The current aim is to have break-even investments by the beginning of summer.

 

The team furthermore is looking for founding members with a background in marketing and/or sales.
