Project Description:
The exponential increase in the availability of digital data (web browsing, images, email, GPS, social networks) has led to explore new solutions capable of extracting information and trends in real time from extremely large and unstructured databases. An example can be the analysis of the "mood" of the financial markets by observing the stream of contents that is constantly published on the internet. Another example is the behavioral analysis of users on the web to identify interests and needs in order to offer personalized services.

Starting from this last example, this project aims at the realization of software solutions related to the big-data and machine learning world such as process automation, data analysis, online learning, data visualization etc ...

Project objectives:

• Implement cloud solutions for dig-data flow management
• Develop web / mobile applications for data visualization
• Create infrastructure for process automation

The project will be developed on the Google Cloud platform by exploiting extremely high-performance components such as Google BigQuery and big-data processing frameworks such as Google Dataproc, Apache Spark, Apache Beam and Apache Kafka.

Necessary knowledge:

• IMPORTANT : Ability to develop code independently
• Familiarity with the use of databases
• Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language among: Java, C / C ++, C #, Python, Scala.
• Interest in software development for the cloud world
