DATA ENGINEER

Our team dedicated to E.ON CDS is part of a larger unit within the E.ON CDS platform which is to grow further. Currently we have a team of 4 engineers (Devops, Scala) divided into two smaller units. One part helps the Disagg project implement a data engineer the other part works on the devops engineers themselves. We are looking for Data Engineers to join our team.

Must have:
Scala, Java and Python.
Cloud architecture (Google GCP, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure).
Knowledge of some data platform - Kafka, Confluent, ...

Nice to have:
Machine learning
Apache Spark
Kubernetes
Docker
Unix
Git (Gitlab).
English at the communicative level.

What are you going to do?
Participate in the creation and modification of ETL data pipelines for kafka which process millions of messages daily. 
Tuning (modifying and deploying) the individual components of the Confluent platform with the support of its own micro-services 
(modification of existing and creation of new micro-services).
