Development Operations Specialist, Insights and Systems

How do we explore the unused, overlooked, and abstract data to unlock hidden efficiencies? How do we string together Financial and Operational data in a way that everyone can understand? How do we leverage our tools and data to deliver amazing space? That’s where you come in.

WeWork is growing at an incredible pace. With more than 256,000 members and 274 locations around the globe, we are currently in 74+ cities and 22 countries and doubling each year. Our Operations Team provides impactful information, analysis, and tools which enable informed, strategic, and tactical decisions. Your audience and colleagues will span the executive, Real Estate, Design and Construction teams.

 Responsibilities:

  • Analyze reports to identify operational issues and determine root-cause.

  • Effectively communicate analysis results to business leaders using strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Implement and maintain business solutions and recommendations to improve performance.

  • Work with our stakeholders to understand their priorities, questions, needs, and requests.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support regional needs.

  • Integrate tools and processes to enhance global and regional efficiency through training and communication.

  • Ensure the accuracy of reports by enforcing processes, using regional knowledge,  and data entry when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

In addition to analytical and quantitative skills, a successful candidate will have the following qualities:  

  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable adoption and encouragement of reports and intelligence.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Tableau or other BI tool.

  • Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to identify and tackle the right questions that align with the business and maximize impact.

  • Infinitely curiosity and a passion to learn.

  • Desire to help build a data-driven culture with an unwavering focus on precise communication

  • Welcome and look forward to iterative feedback.

  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and ethics.

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical, engineering field

  • Two to four years functional experience required, preferably in industry and/or consulting analytics role.
