DevOps & Software Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Supporting our software running in our own SaaS environment and at clients, including installations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• End to end responsible for setting up, optimizing and automating our installation and roll-out procedures.
• Supporting our internal IT landscape (laptops, servers, network).
• Participate in application development in order to truly link development and operations

You should

• Be an all-rounder with experience in DevOps and software engineering while being customer minded
• Have experience with configuration management tools and principles
• Have a software engineering background or significant relevant experience
• Be eager to learn new technologies and share your expertise with the team
• Value team results above personal praise
• Be passionate about DevOps, innovation and creative thinking
• Help other team members when needed
• Deliver your work in a timely and professional manner, with high technical integrity, quality and maintainability
• Speak Dutch and English fluently
• Have a broad interest in technologies:
• Have proven experience with following technologies in an enterprise context:
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, IPSEC)
  • Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, Linux KVM)
  • Linux
  • Python
• Experience with following technologies is an asset:
  • Java
  • Clojure
  • Javascript / CSS / HTML
  • Windows / .NET / C#
