For our HQ in Italy, we’re looking for a Director of Sales. 

This role reports in to the VP Italy and has the main objective continuously improving our customer service, operational efficiency and profitability.

Your contribution to Auto1 Group

  • Deliver the strategy and translate this into processes and structures in order to ensure the operational planning by gaining a clear understanding of the range of goods and services and becoming a source of expert knowledge.
  • Ensuring that correct standards are set and applied, with particular reference to finance and accounting, personnel management, health and safety.
  • Build and lead teams with a focus on strategic alignment, quality of execution, and career progression.
  • As Director you take over full responsibility of business and performances of the department you will look after. 
  • Challenge traditional ways of working in order to find out the best solution by Balancing Price and Quality. 

What you should bring:

  • A Master‘s degree with a focus in Business, Consulting or Finance from a leading university. 
  • A proven record in the technical, commercial and legal aspects of purchasing.
  • Delivering results and ensuring operational excellence. Creates and monitors high standards of data, demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a “can do” attitude.
  • Managing across boundaries. Builds and uses networks. Encourages collaboration and creates consensus, communicates effectively, influences and negotiates.
  • Minimum 5 Year work experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Italian and English. German is a plus.

The 2019 “Decreto Crescita”, will take effect from 1st January 2020, provides facilities for the return to Italy of workers from abroad.

Income that will be produced in Italy by workers who will transfer their residence in Italy, it is expected that the IRPEF tax base is reduced by 70%. To do so it is necessary that the workers have not been resident in Italy in the last 2 years and they commit to staying in Italy for at least two years.
