Embedded QA Engineer

The Position:

We are looking for an Embedded QA Engineer to create and perform manual tests on our backend web services, APIs, Web based UI to ensure its high quality. The candidate will be a part of a growing team, who loves to tackle challenges and make great products. The candidate must be comfortable with taking initiative and working across teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to create test cases for manual testing of Embedded devices software.
• Ability to write basic scripts and tools to assist with his tasks.
• Ability to keep productive communication with our R&D team.
• Ability to file qualified bug reports.
• Clear understanding of the tested product.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of previous experience in QA positions – Must
• Well-spoken and written English – Must
• Experience with Linux – Must

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic scripting knowledge in Shell or Python – Advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of OSI model – Advantage
• QA certification – Advantage
• CCNA certification – Advantage
• Meticulous attention to details, process and logical flow
• Must show a high technical acumen and creative mindset
• Strong teamwork and the ability to learn quickly
• Strong problem solving skills
