Job summary

ESET is expanding its range of secure management technologies, developing them as on-premise solution and migrating them to the next- generation cloud native platform. The ESET Security Management Center team develops the new generation of a security management console enabling remote monitoring and orchestration of security product settings on thousands of computers and mobile devices.

We are a team working with a modern tech stack (C++17, Golang, Python3, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud). We work in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, where everyone can take responsibility quickly.

Job description

Our new colleague should be skilled developer with a strong competency to work on cross-platform projects (Linux, Windows, Cloud) and will to learn new technologies and programming languages. Don´t hesitate to contact me if you have:

  • Skills in modern object-oriented programming
  • Skills in some of the languages C++17, Python3 or Golang
  • Experience with microservice technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Linkerd, Helm) and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google) is an advantage
  • Experience in server programming and multithreading is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system is an advantage
  • Ability and will to quickly learn new technologies
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Good command of English
  • Responsibilities:
  • Build features and capabilities to support the range of our secure management functionality
  • Build and maintain scalable microservices for handling millions of users' requests
  • Collaborate with other development teams, quality engineering team and documentation team
  • Be part of an agile self-organizing team, which collectively defines the stack, architecture, development environment and best practices
  • Be creative and experiment with new solutions yet pragmatic and committed to code optimization, maintainability, and quality
