Front End Developer Intern in Tech Start-Up

Nuland is a start-up in Tallinn that aims to create the next generation of crowd-sourced maps through the use of augmented reality. Our technological team has extensive industry and research experience in systems architecture, software development, machine learning and distributed ledgers. The goals at Nuland are set high, pushing the limits of existing technology in Blockchain and Augmented Reality.  

We are looking for a Front End Developer Intern to join the team in an exciting phase of development and growth. You will be involved in developing the product, resolving problems and presenting solutions. You will work closely with senior developers on our team. 

Required skills:

• 1-2 years’ experience with JavaScript
• ES6, Node.Js, React, Redux, Webpack, HTML, CSS
• Understanding of Git Flow
• English intermediate and upper-intermediate - work in the company is conducted in English. Russian is an advantage

Preferable skills:

• React-Native
• Functional programming
• Objected oriented programming
• Gulp
• Grunt
• Server Side development
• Style-guide-driven development
• Interests in mobile app development and software engineering

The applicant will work part-time and on-site at our office in Tallinn alongside our developers. The applicant must already possess the right to work in the European Union. Working hours are flexible, so we can accommodate your needs if you are currently enrolled in university or working.

The internship is unpaid, but you will receive proper accreditation and recommendations.
