FRONTEND DEVELOPER
Tasks and Outputs:
- Develop high quality object-oriented code using PHP in Zend Framework
- Develop web application of PublishDrive utilizing HTML5, PHP, CSS3, and JavaScript using Zend Framework, jQuery, Bootstrap, HighCharts,
- Design and develop SQL data structures needed to support new development efforts (including keys, indexes, triggers and stored procedures).
- Develop unit and system tests for code developed by self and others
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Identify and recommend new technologies and tools
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming in PHP and JavaScript
- Thorough knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
- Thorough understanding of MVC
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL preferred)
- Good understanding of HTTP protocol and its components, such as headers and cookies
- Solid understanding of security vulnerabilities and limitations, such as CORS, CSRF and XSS
- Good understanding of advanced design patterns and components, such as asynchronous execution, promises and multithreading
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex defects with debugger and profiler tools, such as browser specific developer toolbars
- Working knowledge of version control systems (SVN or Git)
- Desire to learn and grow professionally
- Openness to quick change and new ideas
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Fluent English in writing
Nice to have:
- Any knowledge of Python
- Any experience in Machine Learning/AI
- Experience in Data Science
- Familiarity with Linux operating system internals
- Familiarity with Jira
