Frontend Developer

DEXMA is a SaaS company that helps to reduce energy consumption in buildings. We collect 30M+ real-time measurements per day using stream-processing techniques, and we apply Artificial Intelligence to detect savings potential, identify anomalies and forecast future consumption.

We are now hiring Front Developers who embrace software craftsmanship and have a strong background in JavaScript and experience with React

About you:

• You care about UX/UI, you have a passion for creating beautiful and usable software that you are proud of.
• You like to be involved in the full process from design to code, reasoning out your decisions with your team, based on your experience and your learnings
• You care about the quality of the code that you write, keeping it clean and simple.

About your skills:

• You have a strong background in HTML/CSS & JavaScript
• You have at least 1 year experience in React & Redux
• Your job description includes automated testing (unit testing or cypress, or both)
• You’ve mastered either LESS or SASS
• You have a proven track of record developing responsive web designs

The role:

Our team is cross-functional and self-organizing. As a team member, you’ll work along with the Backend Developers, DevOps, Data-Scientists and the Product Owner, using Agile methodologies to deliver incremental releases of our software solutions every few weeks.

Your day-to-day will involve designing new features and web components, as well as modernizing existing parts of the company’s software products.

You will work in our new product, based on a Single Page Application with technologies such as React, Redux, Webpack, NodeJS, Storybook, ES6, Jest, Cypress & SASS, but also in contribute to improve other applications of our codebase, written in HTML, LESS & JQuery.

To feed our thoughts, each of us have 2 “innovation days” a month to explore new tools and ideas. We frequently attend MeetUps and conferences (sponsored by the company)
