ESET is expanding its range of secure management technologies and developing them as on-premise solution while also migrating them to the next-generation cloud native platform. The ESET Security Management Center team develops the new generation of a security management console enabling remote monitoring and orchestration of security product settings on thousands of computers and mobile devices.

Job description

We are looking for a new colleague to join our cross functional team, who should be either a frontend or full stack developer.  Our team works with modern tech stack (React, Java, C++17, Golang, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Python3, gRPC) on Cloud, Linux and Windows platforms. We work in a casual atmosphere, where everyone has the opportunity to take over responsibility quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of complete software development lifecycle from Analysis, UX design, implementation and delivery

  • Build features and capabilities to support the range of our secure management functionality.

  • Be part of an agile self-organizing team, which collectively defines the stack, architecture, development environment and best practices.

  • Be creative and experiment with new solutions yet pragmatic and committed to code optimization, maintainability, and quality.

  • Collaborate with other development teams, quality engineering team and documentation team to execute on product deliverables.

Your skills and requirements

  • Experience with web development (we use React, Redux, Webpack)

  • Version Control

  • Intermediate English

Additionally for full stack developer:

  • Proficiency in C++ 17
  • Knowledge of SQL (mainly MySQL, SQL Server)
  • Experience with server and multiplatform programming
  • Good grasp of multithreading

Advantageous skills and knowledge:

  • Additional programming/scripting languages (preferably Java, Python)
  • Cloud services (AWS, Google, Azure)
  • UX analysis and design
  • Microservices (technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Linkerd, Helm)
  • Working with large-scale distributed systems

Basic wage component (brutto): from 1600 EUR

*The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
