Full Stack CTO and Co-founder for New & Exciting Startup - Manchester

Seeking a Tech Co-founder for an exciting new Manchester-based Startup similar to that of Snapchat and Tinder.

What we’re looking for:

A talented, natural leader and CTO to take the lead in developing the technical offering in line with the company’s vision, you will be the lead developer for the MVP in line with the pilot agreed with initial customers. At the same time, you will be working to create a team around you of talented developers and engineers to bring the product to market.

Main responsibilities:​

¬ Develop prototype according to specifications to present to potential investors;
¬ Cross-platform product development;
¬ Software development of applications;
¬ Experience in designing and implementing scalable and robust applications;
¬ Experience in UI/UX Design and storyboarding
¬ Functional and non-functional testing;
¬ Pre-launch unit and integration testing;
¬ Feature innovation, project mapping and forward development;
¬ Build and manage the technical team
¬ Full stack developer – be capable of developing a useable front end and develop the back-end based on cloud services such as AWS.

What I am looking for:

¬ Experienced CTO in start-ups or large firms (Desirable but not necessary);
¬ Knowledge and experience in network effects platforms;
¬ Have a Computer Science degree (Desirable)
¬ Full-stack developer;
¬ UI/UX Design & Storyboarding skills;
¬ Cross-platform mobile development experience;
¬ Adaptive, utilizing agile methodologies;
¬ Hardworking, a team player and committed;
¬ Experience in developing a technology strategy to deliver a market leading product;
¬ Desire to learn, experiment and create;
¬ A past record of building things
¬ Experience in managing a team, setting coding standards and providing technical direction
¬ Working knowledge of mobile – Javascript, API, Database building, Objective-C, Ruby / Rails, Python / Django, HTML, CSS, Agile and PHP.
¬ Ability to meet deadlines, be organized and prioritize
¬ Great communication skills, especially to non-technical people.
¬ Fantastic team player but also can work alone.
¬ More than 5 years experience in UI/UX Design and Website & App Development (Desirable)
