Job Description  

FLIR ITS is een producent van intelligente verkeerscamera's op basis van zowel visuele als thermische sensoren. Onze producten bevatten ook een wijde reeks van cutting-edge technologieën zoals V2X, wifi scanning, powerline communications en radar.

Binnen de afdeling R&D is het applications software development team verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden, uitbreiden en ontwikkelen van een Java server backend applicatie in combinatie met een TypeScript/Angular frontend webapplicatie.

Je zal werken in een klein team (6 personen) in nauwe samenwerking met de embedded en testing  teams.

Softwarekwaliteit is heel belangrijk voor ons. We zorgen hiervoor door gebruik te maken van de nodige ontwikkelmethodologieën en tools (unit testing, functional testing, continous integration, …).

Wat zoeken wij in een kandidaat?

• kennis van Java (spring boot)
• kennis van JavaScript, TypeScript en Angular
• kennis van container- en cloudtechnologie
• ervaring met microservices en REST API’s
• kennis van design patterns en software architectuur
• goede kennis van TCP/IP netwerken
• gemotiveerd om nieuwe technologieën te leren

Ervaring met het volgende is een plus punt:

• ervaring met versiecontrolesystemen zoals git
• ervaring met unit testing of test driven development
• ervaring met docker
• ervaring met databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, ...)
