Telenor Group is on a look out for an experienced leadership development specialist to join our Global Learning & Development (L&D) team that manages 9 business units across the group. (This role is based in Digi, Malaysia- as a supporting global function role)
About Telenor Global Learning & Development
Global L&D is responsible for designing and deploying Leadership Development, Expert Education and Online learning across Telenor's business units in Asia and Scandinavia. We also work closely with management teams to deliver interventions across our business units that address specific needs in a team, function or location.
Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of leadership development programmes and other leadership / training interventions.
You will get to work closely with all the business units, for example when running leadership development workshops or cascading concepts within the organization, i.e. Train the Trainer sessions.
You will join a highly experienced team, who constantly look for new approaches to learning, based on research and best practice. We are for example exploiting how to utilize new technology within gamification and online learning to scale learning to a wider audience. You will collaborate with world-class vendors and business schools to ensure high quality, relevant and up to date concepts are anchored within the L&D portfolio.
Your merits
- We expect you to have an educational background within Organisational Development, HR, or Psychology and to be familiar with concepts/theories relating to adult learning, leadership development, coaching and group dynamics.
- Extensive hands-on experience as a leadership trainer and coach
- Experience with strength-based development for both individuals and teams
- Natural flair for project and programme management
- Knowledge and experience with agile ways of working and change leadership
- Ability to work independently, whilst possessing the skills to influence across organizational networks
- A desire to own learning solutions from end-to-end, including measuring impact.
- The drive needed to move processes forward and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Possess business agility mindset and extends this mindset across the entire organization
- a desire and readiness to travel. The role is global and requires extensive travel (min. 75 days per year)
- You will be formally employed in Digi Malaysia,but reports functionally to the Global Head of Leadership Development in Telenor Group.
