Head of Business Development

By combining an open payment network with a local crypto-based community currency, we are leveraging new technological possibilities for a monetary system that is designed to create financial incentives and drive economic growth.
We are looking for a special person to join the team as our Head of Business Development. As the Head of Business Development, you will help grow our Network Of communities. You will do this by identifying, developing and closing opportunities and partnerships that have synergies with our current business goals of growing our network of community service providers and key stakeholders in the communities,. A key focus will be approaching Municipalities to work with us.
Responsibilities
- Devising strategies for driving growth opportunities across the business
- Analysing existing approaches to the development of business and making changes where appropriate
- Setting targets for new business development; setting tough but achievable revenue targets
- Implementing new business initiatives companywide
- Working closely with members of the team to generate new business within large accounts
- Identifying growth opportunities as a result of market changes
- Targeting and approaching prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services
- Acting as a key contact for corporate customer accounts
- Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage existing networks
- Negotiating contracts with partners and ensuring their ROI
- Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business opportunities
- Working with company departments to implement approved deals
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a senior business development role for a similar company
- Experience working in the fintech industry
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth
- Ambitious, target focussed, self-starter with a drive to succeed
- Background with blockchain and cryptocurrency is a bonus
- Creativity in seeing where opportunities exist within Colu and with outside partners
- Presentation skills
- Ability to interact with senior management in large companies
- Experience creating partnerships with international companies
- Experience negotiating contracts with a win-win orientation
- Understand, build, forecast and communicate the financial terms and business implications of the deal
- Mother tongue Hebrew
- Spoken and written English at a very high level
