Information Technology Intern

Do you want to get real programming experience in a start-up venture? We are looking for a smart and creative IT intern. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the development of new features and enhance some of our existing software functionalities. In addition, we offer our interns to conduct their thesis at AMA Partners. You will be part of a highly experienced and dynamic team, based in Amsterdam Zuid Oost. Our development team is responsible for our online tool Directorinsight. We are the first and only platform in the European market that provides such platform. Your task will be setting up a test-framework to assess our in-house-developed application. In addition, we expect you to create a new feature for mapping the interconnected relations between directors. Finally, we have developed an algorithm to compose company peer groups. You will be working with the team to have this fully integrated in our tool DirectorInsight.

What we are looking for

• Affinity with IT and financial services
• Experience in programming and automated testing
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Numeric and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Adept at solving problems, making decisions and be able to work independently with tight deadlines and under pressure
• Flexible, proactive approach and a positive, down to earth attitude
• Knowledge of PHPunit (pré)
