Internal Support Specialist
As an Internal Support Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring that the IT systems used by the business are functioning effectively and securely, while supporting the business users with IT related queries.
3GRC are a leading security and risk management software vendor. Our enterprise ‘software as a service’ application is used by a number of well-known customers to track and mitigate risks within their supplier base and internal business units.
You will work in a busy, agile SOC in Basingstoke, owning the day-to-day management of internal systems and assets. You will be involved in ensuring that employees know how to use IT systems, and will support the initial configuration and set up of hardware and software. You will also own asset management to ensure that audit requirements are suitably met, working with security specialists in the business to ensure that systems are security hardened.
Responsibilities
- Configuring new hardware in line with build standards
- Creation and management of IT Asset Register
- Addressing internal first and second line support queries
- Updating hardware in line with security requirements
- Managing existing systems to ensure they operate as required
- Supporting SOC analysts with queries regarding the 3GRC Platform
- Assisting the management team with internal audits
Desired Skills
- Working experience with both OSX and Windows environments
- Strong technical analytical skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in line with defined timescales
- Ability to be manage a workload of several projects at once
- Proactive, self driven mentality, keen to improve and refine
Experience
