Internationalization & Transport Trainee / Manager

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for the setup, management and optimization of our daily air freight trade lanes from Shenzhen to Hong Kong to various major airport hubs in Europe
  • Establish and manage a seamless and efficient process and improvement of import handling as well as handing over parcels to local distribution partners
  • Setup and management of a Europe-wide satellite warehouse concept embedded in the Lesara reverse logistics process
  • Work together with the SCM team Europe on management of last mile delivery providers
  • Cost controlling and responsibility for all costs from Warehouse to Last Mile Provider (Freight & Customs Costs in P&L) for all European markets
  • Possibility to extend work scope to future ex-Europe market and build a team of specialized internationalization and freight logistics experts

Your Profile

  • Business degree in engineering, logistics or degree in a similar field
  • Ideally previous work and/or internship experience (for Trainee)
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in FMCG Supply Chain Management or E-Commerce (for Manager)
  • Business fluency in English, German or Chinese Mandarin and any other languages are a plus
  • Proactive operation, enthusiasm, and the will to create something of your own
  • Team player and good communication
  • Outstanding conceptual and negotiation skills and the ability to think outside the box are required
