IT Audio/Visual Engineer

Stripe is looking for an IT Audio/Visual Engineer based in Dublin and will be the first role to introduce the “follow the sun” model for the AV team. You will be foundational in growing and scaling Stripe IT AV Operations and will be fundamental to our global AV infrastructure and operations. You will be the point of contact for AV operational issues and help manage AV vendor relationships from our Dublin headquarters, as well as provide support to our European and Asia pacific offices including but not limited to London, Paris, Tokyo, and Singapore. You will participate in the AV aspect of our office build-outs and partner with the IT Engineering team to bring those sites online. You will partner with IT Operations to enable productivity for your fellow Stripes through a seamless and world class AV experience.

You will:

  • Own the AV experience in Dublin and Europe
  • Support live and streaming video events, record and archive events as needed
  • Support and maintain AV systems across Stripe globally
  • Support Stripe AV/IT hardware and applications (Zoom, Chrome OS, Crestron, Shure, etc.)
  • Proactively identify and resolve AV related issues across the company
  • Oversee conference rooms systems across Stripe globally
  • Oversee AV production and provide technical direction/coordination across teams
  • Support internal and external Stripe Events
  • Assist in AV related efforts for global office planning and buildouts
  • Create, update, and maintain IT AV documentation
  • Manage regional AV vendor relationships utilized for maintenance visits, sweeps, and event support

Our ideal candidate will:

  • 4-6 years of experience with integrated AV technology such as control systems, codecs, and audio DSPs
  • 2-4 years of experience providing AV operations in an enterprise IT organization
  • Have experience with Zoom and Zoom Room integration
  • Have event support experience at a mid to large sized audience scale(300+ attendance)
  • Be empathetic, humble, and possess a strong focus on customer service
  • Able to independently manage and prioritize workload
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a basic understanding of corporate networking
