As a Software Engineering Manager at Omio you will…
… be guiding an international, talented and agile Development team that is responsible for building the platform that empowers the core company asset - partner integrations. You will work with the latest technologies, help our teams integrate with our products quicker. Although we are deeply proud of what we have already achieved at Omio, there's still room for improvement and lots of interesting technical challenges to face while going forward. You will directly guide and coach an exceptional team of engineers, mentoring them in technical and non-technical aspects. Your team will work closely with other teams across the company development ecosystem.
The following tasks are waiting for you:
- You'll play a leading role in architecture and design of Omio systems delivering a great new product for Omio
- Be responsible for continuously raise the engineering bar with experience and passion for software excellence.
- You will Design and develop scalable and future-proof microservices and libraries.
- You'll work on high-performance services that handle all communications with our partners.
- Be a leader in building a collaborative approaching with other teams across Omio teams working on solutions for challenging and interesting problems.
- Improve our provider platform to simplify and streamline our complex tasks and make our system that integrates hundreds of APIs even more resilient
- Own and establish standard methodologies for cross-team collaboration and software development processes
- Lead by example in software quality
What are we looking for in you?
- You should have a minimum of 4 years experience as tech-lead and/or people manager. Ideally you'll be someone who has managed a high performing team
- A solid track-record of successfully shipped software products with teams in an Agile environment.
- Hands-on experience in building large software systems.
- At least five years of professional web or mobile development experience and related technologies and frameworks
