We are currently looking for a Jigs and Tools Engineer. Our ideal candidate should have experience in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or 3DX, as well as basic knowledge of car components, and basic jig and fixture design. Teamwork, good communication skills and extraordinary work motivation are mandatory! Apply and become a part of our Rimac Automobili team!

 

1. Responsibilities and work tasks

  • Develop different tool design concepts in conjunction with input from other departments
  • Develop gluing, control, positioning and assembly jigs
  • Create CAD models and drawings consisting of assemblies, details and bills of material
  • Manage or assist with the completion of tooling and control fixture projects
  • Promote continuous improvement ideas and concepts
  • Lead or assist with problem resolution
  • Work with Design Engineers and Quality Control, provide feedback on critical dimensions and process capability to develop appropriate part specifications and tolerances

 

2. Requirements

  •  Experience in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or 3DX
  •  Some knowledge of car components and parts
  •  Good knowledge of English language
  •  Great teamwork skills
  •  Highly developed communication skills
  •  Developed sense of responsibility

 

3. Considered as an advantage

  • Experience in composites
  • Expirience in quality control
  • Knowledge of gluing process and glues
