Junior Software Engineer

At Bynder, we always put the user first, ensure quality, and work as a team. We use the latest technology to solve all types of problems which are usually connected to complex and highly available applications. We are building the most advanced and easiest to use digital asset management software in the industry. We work with a microservice architecture, using multiple asynchronous systems and push technology to the limits. We trust proven tech such as PostgreSQL, AWS, Elasticsearch and REST, but we can’t resist trying something new (our latest addition being our GraphQL API). Our applications are mostly written in Python, but we believe the language should fit the job.

One of our current challenges is constant improvement of our product. You as our new software engineer will bring fresh ideas to the table, and turn these into working functionalities that make our users’ lives easier.

Your main goal will be to improve the application quality by collaborating with the rest of your team. This should further confirm the dominance of Bynder in the DAM industry across the globe.

You will be part of an international team at our Tech HQ in Rotterdam with more than 60 developers from 20 countries.

Qualifications

Who are you:

• You are familiar with object-oriented programming and Python (1+ year)
• You have experience with a Python based web-framework
• You are familiar with automated testing or willing to learn the ins and outs of it
• You are familiar with version control (preferably Git)
• You show great care and consideration for code quality
• You are not afraid to share your ideas with the rest of the team
• You are enthusiastic about sharing knowledge - pair programming, presenting new findings
